Delete your account & data
You can delete your fewso account and the data tied to it at any time. Here's how, and exactly what happens.
Delete from the app
- Open fewso.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
That starts permanent deletion of your account right away — no need to email anyone.
Can't access the app?
If you've lost access to your device or account, send us a message through our contact form— give us the email on your account and your @handle, and ask us to delete it. We'll verify it's you and complete the deletion for you.
What gets deleted
- Your profile — handle, display name, and email.
- Your photos, videos, weeks, captions, reactions, and comments.
- Your connections and album memberships.
Shared albums you created are removed. Your contributions to albums owned by other people are deleted from those albums.
What may remain briefly
Copies can persist in encrypted backups for a short period (up to 30 days) before they age out. We may also keep the minimum needed to meet a legal obligation or to resolve an open abuse report, plus fully anonymised diagnostics that aren't linked to you.
Timeline
Your account becomes inaccessible immediately. Personal data is erased from active systems within 30 days, and from backups shortly after.
Just need a break?
You don't have to delete everything — there are no streaks to lose. You can delete individual moments in the app, or simply sign out and come back whenever you like.
